Corralejo Beaches

Corralejo’s beaches are among the finest in the Canary Islands โ€” pristine, uncrowded and truly breathtaking. Whether you’re looking to swim, snorkel the rich seabed or ride the wind on a kite, surfboard or windsurf, these beaches deliver it all. Below you’ll find our guide to the most beautiful and unmissable stretches of coastline in the area.

Most are just a few minutes from the centre of Corralejo. No car? No problem โ€” we offer bicycles at our accommodation so you won’t miss a thing.

Flag Beach
Among the most photographed and celebrated beaches in the Canary Islands, the beaches of Corralejo stretch across endless kilometres of white sand dunes within a stunning natural park. This is one of Europe’s most beautiful coastal landscapes โ€” a succession of pristine beaches and hidden coves that together form one of the true treasures of the archipelago.
Just 2 kilometres from town, Flag Beach is world-renowned as a premier destination for kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing.

El Burro Beach
Located right next to Flag Beach, El Burro is a smaller and more sheltered cove whose natural shape protects bathers from the waves, making it ideal for a calm swim. At the same time, its conditions attract windsurfers, kiters and surfers looking for reliable wind and waves โ€” making it a beach that caters perfectly to everyone.

You can park right in front of the beach and you don’t have to walk to get to the shore.

El Moro Beach
The closest beach to Corralejo, El Moro is ideal for beginners thanks to its gentle, manageable waves near the shore. On calmer days it transforms into a wonderful beach for swimming, diving and snorkelling. Parking is available right next to the beach, making it one of the most easily accessible โ€” and popular โ€” beaches in the area.

Entubadera Beach
Nestled between Flag Beach and El Burro Beach, Entubadera is a natural continuation of Flag Beach, sharing the same pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters that define the Corralejo Natural Park. A true Caribbean-style paradise for those seeking unspoiled, tranquil beaches.

Punta Elena Beach
A beach for experienced surfers, Punta Elena is Corralejo’s most popular surf spot for intermediate and advanced riders. A rocky shoreline leads to the water’s edge โ€” once past it, a paddle out rewards with magnificent wave conditions at one of the best-known peaks on the island. Located in the heart of Corralejo, right next to the Bahรญa Real luxury hotel. Parking available on Calle Poris.

Corralejo Beach
Corralejo has several urban beaches, all easily accessible directly from the town streets. Sheltered from the stronger waves found elsewhere on the coast, they are calm and safe โ€” a great option for families with young children. With restaurants, bars and shops right on the doorstep, everything you need is within easy reach.

Lobos Islet
A protected natural paradise just over 2 kilometres from Corralejo, Isla de Lobos is a stunning day trip destination. Its coastline offers beaches, coves and natural pools, while the interior reveals a dramatic volcanic landscape of sandbanks, lava formations and rugged terrain. Accessible by water taxi from Corralejo.

The Lakes of Cotillo
A piece of paradise approximately 20 kilometres from Corralejo. Natural lagoons of turquoise water framed by white sand and volcanic rock make this one of the most breathtaking coastal settings on the island. Located on the right side of El Cotillo town centre, with parking available directly in front of the beach.
