Fuerteventura is one of the best-kept secrets in European snorkelling. Its volcanic origins have sculpted a dramatic and diverse seabed, filled with coral reefs, underwater caves, deep drop-offs and rock formations that shelter an extraordinary variety of marine life. With over 400 species of aquatic creatures โ including rays, sea turtles, octopus, tropical fish and colourful algae โ every dive into these waters reveals something new.
What makes Fuerteventura truly special is its clarity. The Atlantic waters here are exceptionally clean and transparent, offering visibility that rivals some of the world’s most celebrated snorkelling destinations. Combined with the island’s warm climate, which makes the sea comfortable to enter in any season, snorkelling in Fuerteventura is an experience available all year round.
